MyWorld Tuesday #3

Hamburg has many waterways, one of the reasons I love this city so much. You can rent a canoe, a rowboat or a pedalo and explore a lot of Hamburg from the water, for example from the Stadtpark (the biggest public park) in Barmbek, where I live, to the Binnenalster (not my picture!), right in the middle of the city. The Alster is the biggest body of water in Hamburg (except for the Elbe of course), but there are many more canals. Here's the Osterbekkanal, I like taking a walk next to it

Osterbekkanal is simply great! I'd like to walk along the bank! This is a side of Hamburg I did not know so far!

Not a view I would have associated with Hamburg... or Germany in general for that matter. It looks rather like one of the tributaries of the Neuse or Cape Fear Rivers here.

Hamburg is a beautiful city with so many interesting things and places to visit. The carvings nd ships in the Rathaus, the Binnenalster and grneral waterfront dictrict.There is so much to see and enjoy, glad you shower us your canal walk.
