ABC Wednesday: Q is for Qualle

Q is Qualle and Qualle (['kvalə]) is German for jellyfish. This one is a Rhizostoma octopus, a Barrel Jellyfish.

Now there's something I didn't know! And it's a gorgeous photo! Most of us only ever see jellyfish splatted on the beach - not their most flattering 'profile'. ;)
