Ah, many of us have to learn the hard way! Guess it applies to the insect world as well! Terrific shot! Think I'll wait a while before I have lunch!!Have a great day!Sylvia
I guess the Daddy Long Legs will end up as dessert.Great original post for the letter V.
I hope I get to sleep tonight... :-)
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW but super cool too! : )
Ook ja! You have captured the food chain in one great photo. What a way to go ...
I like your little story. It made me smile!
Yes, of course...venus flytrap. This is a great post!
These are amazing plants. Great photgraph too.Happy ABC Wednesday.Sherry
Excellent shot. I've never seen one of these in real life but your photo makes me think I have! Thank you!
there was a disc jockey on the old TV series WKRP in Cincinnati called Venus Flytrap.BTW, I'm a librarian, too.
Amazing photo! We had a small Venus plant once, and I kept watching for it to capture an insect, but never saw one. To see a fly and then a spider fall into its clutches is quite a sight! Great choice for V!
Most interesting plants - children, being naturally bloodthirsty, love them! Great shot if rather unfortunate for the spider.I've never had much luck with insect-eating plants . . . must try harder!
This is a beautiful shot !! Nice
Poor guy wrong place to look for a good meal ^_^!!My ABC
Great photo. There's no easy lunch, at least not for a daddy long legs.
I'd say 'V' also stands for 'victims'! LOL! Nice pic!
Way cool! Not an everyday plant, that's for sure!
